ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਕੋਮਲ ਮਿੱਤਲ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਘੱਗਰ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ। ਭਾਂਖਰਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ, ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਡਰੇਨੇਜ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ‘ਤੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਘੱਗਰ ਦਰਿਆ ‘ਤੇ ਟਿਵਾਣਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕੀਤਾ। ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਠੀਕ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੱਚੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ‘ਤੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਡੀ ਸੀ ਕੋਮਲ ਮਿੱਤਲ ਨੇ ਖਜੂਰ ਮੰਡੀ ਦੇ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ ਡੀ ਐਮ ਡੇਰਾਬੱਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋੜ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਐਸ ਡੀ ਐਮ ਡੇਰਾਬੱਸੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਤਹਿਸੀਲਦਾਰ ਡੇਰਾਬੱਸੀ ਸੁਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ, ਐਕਸੀਅਨ ਡਰੇਨੇਜ ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ ਡੀ ਓ ਡਰੇਨੇਜ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਸਨ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਘੱਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਵਧਿਆ ਪੱਧਰ, ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਘੱਟਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।
