MLA Kulwant Singh Hands Over Allotment Letters to Motor Market Sector 65

After clearing the hurdles in the allotment of booths to the Mohali Motor Market Association at Phase 11 (Sector 65), Kambali, Mr. Kulwant Singh (MLA Aam Aadmi Party) today distributed allotment letters to applicants who had been awaiting them for many years.
MLA Kulwant Singh, who had raised the matter in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha and brought it to the notice of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, said this was a decade-old demand of the Association. He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for promptly addressing the issue and instructing GMADA to complete the allotment process.
“A total of 224 allotment letters have been prepared, of which 23 were handed over today”, said MLA Kulwant Singh by adding that the remaining letters of intent will be issued online to the allottees. The new Motor Market will accommodate mechanics from Phase 7 and Mohali village, streamlining their business operations and reducing congestion in city areas.
He further said, “With the allotment process completed, mechanics can now proceed with construction work on their booths.” Reiterating his commitment to resolving the issues of Mohali residents, MLA Kulwant Singh said he would continue working to shape Mohali into the most beautiful city of Punjab.
President of the Mohali Motor Market Association, Amandeep Singh Abiana, thanked the Punjab Government and MLA Kulwant Singh, calling the allotment a “dream come true” for the association. He credited the Chief Minister’s intervention for clearing the decks for the project.
