Member of Parliament from Chandigarh, Manish Tiwari, today visited the residence of Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi in Mohali. This was his first visit to Mohali after becoming member of Parliament.
On this occasion, Manish Tiwari was honored by Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi and his team. He met with several senior Congress leaders from the area and shared views on the current political scenario Punjab and the country.
Old workers are the party’s asset
Manish Tiwari said that Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi and many leaders standing with him are among those old workers who remained loyal to the Congress party even in difficult times and dedicated their lives for the strengthening of the party. He said, “These old companions are a great asset to the party. Their service is invaluable, and in the future, they will play a leadership role.”
Manish Tiwari, targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party, said that the party is attacking India’s Constitution and destroying constitutional institutions. He said the Election Commission of India has become a puppet in the hands of the BJP, and the conspiracy to cut crores of votes in Bihar is part of the same agenda. He said the BJP clearly sees its defeat in Bihar and hence is deceiving the people there under the name of SIR (Special Intensive Revision), but under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the Congress and the opposition alliance will not let BJP succeed in such malicious attempts. He added that in the 2027 elections in Punjab, the Congress party will achieve a large-scale victory and form the government.

On this occasion, the senior leadership of Congress gave Manish Tiwari a grand welcome.
