The play “Mera Rang De Basanti Chola” will be staged on September 28th.

Nabaz-e-Punjab, Patiala, September 26:
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, the North Zonal Cultural Centre (Ministry of Culture, Government of India), Patiala, will stage the play “Mera Rang De Basanti Chola” by the drama group of Manch Rangmanch, Amritsar, at 6:30 pm on Sunday, September 28th, at the Kalidas Auditorium, Virsa Vihar Centre, near the Language Department, Punjab, Shera Wala, Patiala. Renowned drama director Kewal Dhaliwal is the writer and director.

Disclosing this information, Mr. M. Furqan Khan, Director of the North Zonal Cultural Centre, stated that on September 28th, the event will commemorate Shaheed Bhagat Singh, pay tribute to him, and convey his ideology to the masses by following the path shown by him. To enhance the grandeur of the event, admission is free for all spectators.
