Mohali Industries Association (MIA) proudly hosted an interactive industrial session today under the leadership of its dynamic President, S. Baljit Singh, to welcome Mr. Deepak Anand, Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) from Mississauga-Malton, Ontario (Canada) and representative of the Conservative Party.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from MIA members, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders from the regional industrial ecosystem. The primary focus of the session was exploring business development and investment opportunities in the province of Ontario, Canada, and fostering bilateral trade and industrial collaboration.
During the interaction, Mr. Deepak Anand shared valuable insights on Ontario’s business environment, policies, and support mechanisms for global industrial partnerships, especially for MSMEs and tech-based enterprises from India.
The event also became a moment of immense pride and celebration as Ms. Ria Kaur Sethi, daughter of esteemed MIA members, was felicitated for securing All India Rank 89 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024.
Ms. Ria Kaur Sethi delivered an inspirational speech, sharing her journey of dedication, challenges, and perseverance that led to her remarkable achievement. Her words deeply motivated the audience, especially the youth, reinforcing the values of hard work, discipline, and consistent effort.
President S. Baljit Singh honored her on behalf of MIA and lauded her success as a shining example of academic excellence and commitment to public service.
Also, President S. Baljit Singh emphasized the importance of such international exchanges and appreciated Mr. Anand’s efforts in building bridges between Indian and Canadian industries. He assured MIA’s active engagement in facilitating such collaborations for mutual growth and global competitiveness.
